Jackal tooth and nail

Location – Kij Kij waterhole, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa/Botswana A group of lions killed an eland the previous day and when we arrived at the sight early the next day, the lions have left the kill. Around the killing was about 15 black backed jackals lying waiting their turn they have a bite from the carcass. And this is what happens when the lions leave the kill – jackals trying to establish dominations around the kill.
