Jaguar with captured Anaconda - Pantanl
Theis female Jaguar was observed hunting along the banks of the Three Brother's river in the Pantanal for its favourite prey, Caiman. At some stage, it disappeared up a steep bank and into thick undergrowth where it discovered and captured a green Anaconda. The photograph was taken when the Jaguar returned to the river to bring its catch to its young cub which was hidden in the dense foliage further down the river.
