Blending 2 cultures in the middle of an African Village: On my way home to the volunteer house after work as a volunteer English teacher I asked the driver to stop as I wanted to get out and meet the young Maasai tribe member wearing colorful garb and jewelry, who I’d seen in the distance before we’d even come close due to the vibrant colors. The driver got out to translate in Swahili for me as I introduced myself. She was in the middle of watching after her goats as they ate and drank water. I asked her if I could take a photo with her and she agreed. It was pretty hot that day and the sun shinned brightly.
