Jerrell in Coral

Now that social media has become such a strong presence it is often that we find minorities and people of color made out to be the enemies of society. Black men specifically are shown as savage creatures; always arrested and carrying out irrational activities. But the truth is that black men are soft souls who wish to love and be loved by the world around us. We are men who have emotions and feelings that ought to be recognized and cared for, rather than being made the epitome of bad decisions. The background colors and use of flowers symbolize the sensitivity black men hold within and work in tandem to show the viewer the reality outside of the negative connotations placed on these men.
