JK Bridge
The Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge, also known as Ponte JK or Terceira Ponte, is located in Brasília, connecting Lago Sul, Paranoá and São Sebastião to the central part of Brasília, through the Monumental Axis, crossing Lago Paranoá. Inaugurated on December 15, 2002, the bridge structure has a total crossing length of 1.2 kilometers, being 24 meters wide with two lanes, each with three lanes, two walkways on the sides for use by cyclists and pedestrians 1.5 meters wide and with a total span of 720 meters.
