This is Jacob from Switzerland and Jose from Peru. They met while surfing a queer-only dating application and now both live together in Vienna where this image was taken. They told me of the complexities of being in a multicultural queer relationship and having resistance from family and facing a lot of discrimination as they tried for a long time to get married with most establishments refusing them. Within some countries in Europe, same-sex marriages are still illegal, causing many people to travel often very far to get married in 'legal' countries. Finally, after many refusals, they got married last year and now plan to travel the world in a van they are currently renovating.
