I was searching for a great spot to capture the sunset at Joshua Tree and settled on this spot because of the incredible layering effects of the trees, rock formations, and mountains in the background. This is probably the most beautiful sunset I've personally ever witnessed. I was alone and did not see another person for hours while I was scouting a location and enjoying the sunset. I've been told this photo has a "Lion King" vibe.
