I was hiking the Flume Trail high above Lake Tahoe. As I was making my descent at the end of the day, I spotted a rock outcropping overlooking the lake. As I approached the edge I realized that I had come across a golden opportunity. With the radiant sun shimmering off of the surface of the expansive lake and the lone, tall pine tree backlit in the foreground, it was a beautiful moment that captured Tahoe in all its glory. I was fortunate to experience it, and even more fortunate to capture it.
