During the Covid19 Pandemic shelter-in-place period, many people took to cooking at home. My mother was always a great cook/chef, and at 95-years old, she didn't let the Pandemic stop her from baking and cooking every day. This photo shows my mother preparing her one of her favorite desert recipes in her beloved kitchen. The facemask she wore in her own home served as a dose of reality that we were living in a new, ambiguous world during the pandemic.
