July Comets

I took this photograph in rural Iowa with old fashioned wind mill, fireflies and comet Neowise. I felt transported in time. Every six thousand years early humans would see this comet, and fireflies. Times are different, yet we are still walking the Earth, and gasping in awe at the celestial bodies like our ancestors did. The comet will come back, but if we don't protect our environment, fireflies or humans may not be around to see it again. The species of the fireflies in this photo is named "July Comets", a reason for my title of this photograph.
