Jumping into Crater Lake

I've always had a fear of jumping - especially into water. After a 45 minute downhill hike on the Cleetwood Cove Trail, I had no more excuses as to why I couldn't fall into this beautiful, clear blue water. I remember the butterflies in my stomach as I watched others around me fly in carelessly. My friends were calling me in. I closed my eyes, took a step and felt myself falling. I hit the 43 degree water and felt like my heart stopped. I was terrified but the experience was worth it.
