JUS AD BELLUM

This image is part of a project called "Jus ad Bellum", born by chance while I was photographing the campaigns of a man to create a book that tells his life with images. I saw a skull with which I portrayed his niece, satisfied with the yield, I decided to make a series with different girls together with animal skulls. The title "Jus ad Bellum", from the Latin, means the preparation necessary to go to war and fight, a war that we women fight every day, not only as female beings but also as human beings. The parallelism of the woman who gives life and the end of it which is death, the end of a cycle. The death that has accompanied me since childhood, a representation of my inner self, the continuous introspection that constantly struggles between death and the search for beauty.
