15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Just a seagull and his rubber duck.
This photo was extremely difficult to take. I came across this situation at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria B.C. This seagull was very curious about this rubber duck that somehow managed to find itself in the middle of a pond. It took a lot of patience and some good timing to capture this shot.
