I had signed up for a group tour of Sabah in Borneo, but also set up a private tour for a five days in Sarawak. On my first day I visited the Semenggoh Orangutan Sanctuary. The Orangutans there are wild but are also provided some food. It took some time before any of the animals appeared, but finally a female with the juvenile did arrive. This juvenile was hanging on a rope enjoying a piece of fruit.
