Juvenile Eagle Spreads its Wings on bank of Potomac River
There are many full grown adult eagles along the Potomac River, but not as many visible juveniles, let alone a large one such as this one. It is still in its pre-adult plumage. The sunset enhanced the warm tones of its coloring.
