Juvenile Red Bellied Woodpecker
Red Bellied woodpeckers are one of my favorite birds to watch. They’re always so particular and unpredictable. I’ve tried capturing them for many years, but always seam to just miss a great shot. So I was proud when this young one gave me his trust; and allowed me the perfect opportunity to capture a stunning close up of him with a beautiful green and white bokeh effect from the trees and sky in the background.
