The British Bloodhound jet car has just completed testing on Hakskeen Pan in the Kalahari desert South Africa in preparation for the world land speed record attempt in 2021. But before that some local bushmen had their own speed record attempt on Hakskeen Pan, albeit in a very different "vehicle".
