These elder bushmen in the Kalahari Desert of Namibia represent local efforts at sustainable travel. The rural camp which was run by an Afrikaner working in conjunction with the bushmen tribe, gave us opportunities to learn about their hunting, their lifestyle, and their spiritual beliefs while letting us purchase local handicrafts that were plowed back into the community.
