Karlstejn from above. Taking the path from Zadni Treban, the hiker can see the Karlstejn Castle nestled against the ridge. Zadni treban served as the Royal Stables and military base for the back door defense of Karlstejn. Few tourists ever explore the area or know the trails about the forest and so never see alternative views of the castle from the neighboring ridges.
