Kayaking at Sunset: A Welcome Break Following Pandemic Quarentine
On a fall afternoon just a few weeks ago, I went hiking at Mason Neck State Park in Lorton, Virginia. While searching for bald eagles that may be hunting for an evening meal, I came across this group of kayakers. They had just set out for a sunset outing. They immediately caught my attention because they were so noisy, with delight. I just couldn't help but smile and take their photo. Everyone was so excited to be out in the fresh air, in a safe environment, enjoying nature again following quarantine. Their joy was so beautiful to witness and simply contagious.
