Kayaking on Huntington Lake

A day of fresh air, good conversation, and kayaking. Huntington Lake in California is known for sailing. There are not many kayaks on this lake due to the amount of wind that is present throughout the day. This was a perfect day to explore this lake from a kayak. We are so thankful we spent this day on the lake. To our surprise, a few days later the Creek Fire started and took over 250,000 acres of the forest. A great majority of Huntington Lake was burnt and forever changing the the look of the surrounding forest and the town of Lake Shore. Grateful for this day of Kayaking.
