Kazakh Eagle Hunters, Mongolia
The Altai Mountains run from Siberia down to Mongolia’s Gobi Desert. One of the world’s last true wildernesses. This land is the home of the Kazakh golden eagle hunters. As a result of this physical isolation, the Kazakh community have managed to preserve their traditions and are renowned for their skills in horsemanship and eagle hunting.
