Kaziranga Safari
Kaziranga National Park, a protected area in the North-Eastern Indian state of Assam is home to the great One-Horned Rhinoceros found largely only in this part of the world. Situated in the flood-plains of river Brahmaputra including grasslands and wetlands, this is also home to various other animals including Tigers and various migratory birds. Declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it is a famous tourist destination during the season with Jeeps and trained elephants back rides with mahout guides which are the means of travel inside the park.
