Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard
The Key Underwood Coon Dog Memorial Graveyard, the only cemetery in the world reserved exclusively for the various breeds of Coonhounds, is located near Cherokee, Alabama. Coonhounds were bred in America during colonial times to hunt prey, such as raccoons, that tended to climb trees.
