Khmer Portrait
An elderly man in Cambodia walks a remote village dirt road. The man had on black pants, a traditional Khmer color. For someone to be alive at that age, it usually means either he was lucky to have survived the genocide as a victim, or he was a former Khmer soldier himself. He allowed me to take his picture, and then went a little further to comfort a crying child who was sitting in the dirt.
