I was trying to capture a few pictures at Harpers Ferry (the tri-state region - MD, VA, and WV), when I heard a few halted steps from behind me. Several kids shyly asked if they could pass through, and as they were racing up and laughing, I wanted to capture the moment. It made me think of the American Experience - children, having the freedom to laugh and race one another in safety.
