Killisnoo Island Sculpture
Killisnoo Island was home to one of Alaska's first industries, a herring and whale processing plant started by the Northwest Trading Company in 1878 . The plant is long gone, but remains of Killisnoo's industrial past are still present. Here, rusty artifacts, appearing like sculpture, are shown with fishing boats and Whaler's Cove Lodge in the background.
