The common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis), also known as the Eurasian kingfisher and river kingfisher, is a small kingfisher with seven subspecies recognized in Eurasia and Africa. I took the photo of it standing on a branch. the water behind the bird created a beautiful green orange velvet looking background, blendin yet emphasizing the colors of the beautiful bird.
