KIRUNA CHURCH

This impressive wooden church, in the shape of a Sami goahti (the typical house of the indigenous Scandinavians), is located in Kiruna, which is the northmost town of Sweden. The Lutheran Christian church was built between 1909–1912, by the architect Gustaf Wickman, and in 2001 was voted by the Swedish people as the most beautiful public building in Sweden.
