Kiwanis Cabin atop Sandia Crest New Mexico

The Kiwanis Cabin sits high on the Sandia Crest, over 10,000 feet above Albuquerque, New Mexico. Built in the summer of 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), the limestone cabin serves as a reminder of the CCC’s great works and as a temporary refuge from inclement weather.
