17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Kyoto Red
When I travelled Kyoto, I went to Heian Jingu Shrine, which was built in 1895 as a memorial to the ancient capital of Kyoto on its 1100th anniversary. The brilliant red of the shrine buildings was very impressive.
