The lady of the lake appears only when the full moon is high above the horizon and taunts her forth. She rises with the tides and looks out upon the starry night. She wills the mountains to bow before her and the stars to light her path upon the water to the shore. Her beauty is but a sliver of what the universe has within it's soul. She shows that beauty for only a short time before she is called back to the depths of the lake where she will lay silent until the full moon rises once more.
