17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
Lady with red parasol crossing the road
While looking out the window of my tenth floor room in the Holiday inn in Gwangju South Korea I noticed this lady with a beautiful red parasol about to cross the road. I thought the contrast in color between her red parasol and the black and white of the pedestrian crossing would make a great picture. I quickly grabbed my camera and got the shot!
