Lady Zia

The Zia is the state flag symbol of my home state, New Mexico. It's a important representation of the states motto to follow the meanings behind the Zia. I went out visiting my home state, New Mexico, this past October. Every October its a tradition to go photograph a new spot with my cousin that we both haven't been to. We chose to go to Tent Rocks. While I was photographing the slot canyons, specifically this spot. The shadow took more shape as time passed. There it was! A woman's head (side profile) with long flowing wavy hair staring down at me. I quickly snapped many variations of this event before the light changed. Within 10 minutes, the woman disappeared, leaving me with a lucky golden moment.
