While trekking in the Chiang Rai region, in the north of Thailand, we met several hill tribes. This one in particular, a Lahu tribe, is where we felt most at home: children followed everywhere and, when we were about to take the road again, they came waving, saying goodbye, visibly as sad as we were of leaving them.
