Lake Bowman perfectly captures mountain reflections

Bowman Lake is famous for its incredibly tranquil water, whose stillness is the product of its location in a deep valley sandwiched between the Rockies' Numa and Cerulean ridges. The lake is seven miles long and stretches so far back into the Livingston Range that it seems to trap these ancient mountains in its glassy surface. The result is a near-perfect illusion: a parallel universe that ripples in the wind.
