Peak fall foliage, a mirror-still lake at the beginning of the “golden hour” in mid-October was the definition of “picture-perfect.” More than simply documenting an incredibly vibrant scene, there was an opportunity to push the color to be more interpretive; to express the feelings of being immersed in the dramatic colors of the season’s change.
