Peak fall foliage, a mirror-still lake at the beginning of “golden hour” was the definition of “picture-perfect.” More than simply documenting an incredibly vibrant scene, there was an opportunity to push the color to be more interpretive, to express the feelings of being immersed in the dramatic colors of the season’s change.
