Lake Waccamaw in North Carolina

Lake Waccamaw is the largest of the natural Carolina Bay lakes. The lake has estimated to be 15,000 to 30,000 years old. The lake was established as a North Carolina state lake in 1929. In the photo, you see a dock going out into the lake. The lake is used for many water activities.
