13th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Lamar Valley Road
We got up well before dawn to drive out to Lamar Valley to see what wildlife we could photograph. It was very cold and the rain was moving in as seen from this picture. We saw to wolves and a grizzly bear fighting over a carcass. The cold and the rain was worth the trip to see these great animals.
