I have been fascinated with the construction of a new development a mile from my home. I have carefully watched the grading and leveling of land, creation of house foundation, skeleton building structure, walls, plumbing and planting grass sod and trees. I search for meaning in the creation of new dwellings for humans to house their memories at the same time that precious nature is seemingly desecrated. I photograph 'progress' every day for the last 8 months.
