Large Scarce Blue, Phengaris teleius on Great Burnet
it was accidental that I found the habitat of this butterfly. To go to Milovice, the train crosses a trestle over a river. Rivers mean dragonflies, so like Pooh looking for his honey jar, I knew there had to be something there. On the way of meeting this butterfly, I also met the EuroExpress on the trestle. It was bigger than me, so actually the only thing to do was hug a girder--however, on the other side of the trestle were Phengaris species- all three of them, so I always went back, but kept track of EuroExpress.
