Larval Spotfin flounder
In Florida we have Black Water Diving available to us. Every night a vertical migration occurs in the ocean. We dive off the coast over a depth of about 500 feet and find the most amazing creatures that come up from the depths to eat or be eaten. This is a larval Spotfin Flounder. No bigger than your thumb and as thin as a piece of paper.
