On this day, my sister and I had met with the hospice people who took my mother on as a patient. With the pain and relief medications hand delivered, I went into her room before leaving for home to pack a bag for a stay with her and my sister's family. I kissed her on the head and wished her sweet dreams and then cried all the way home.
