20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Last flowers in Dolomites
Sunset in Tre Cime before the storm. While hiking in Dolomites I was looking for unique composition. Suddendly I spotted last summer, yellow flowers right in front of the peaks (can you see the similarity in shapes?). I used 6.3 apperture to have a sharp mountain and blurred plants. As I forgot my 20mm lens I had to challenge myself with 24mm.
