14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile
Late Afternoon at Union Station
The people weaved in and out of the mammoth stone pillars as they hurried about their business on that late afternoon in early spring. The waning light cast long shadows on each figure and made a beautiful pattern on the ground that seemed to dance as the people moved.
