Laundry day in the KIngdom of Lesotho

A waterfall decorated with the drying laundry of a group of Pentecostal women who had just conducted a ceremony at its base and then washed their clothes. You can see religious robes laid out on the bushes in the cooling sun. We gave the ladies, who had filled containers with fresh water from the waterfall to take home, a lift to the bottom of the mountain in our van. They crammed in the back and sung religious songs and banged their drums all the way down the mountain. It was surreal and euphoric for all.
