Lava flow
The eruption of a volcano in Iceland. As you may know, there was a beautiful natural show in the country. On March 19, 2021, a volcanic eruption started on Mount Fagradalsfjall, in the Geldingadalur valley. The photo shows a river of lava flowing through its older, dried black layers. Its scale is highlighted by the brave photographer, standing relatively close to the boiling liquid ( which must have been hellishly heavy, as a whiff of heat could be felt even at the top of the moutain).
