This was taken along the coast of the Reykjanes Peninsula while hiking on the blasted lava rock shorelines in South Western Iceland during a visit in March, 2016. Black & White was chosen for this shot because the sky and the beach were already basically black and white. The cold, rugged climate is particularly harsh during this time of year.
