Warming up (or cooling down) at Paris-Vincennes racecourse

This is race day at Paris-Vincennes racecourse, where I had the opportunity to take lots of beautiful photographs of French trotting horses and their jockeys. I live in a rural department of France called 'La Mayenne,' which has a strong horse culture. This area is famous for French trotting horses, with stud farms and training centres everywhere. As a horse owner and equine photographer, I have really fallen in love with this hard working culture that involves all of the family. My family have been accompanying me on local photoshoots, where I have been photographing breeding horses and horses in training. One of the local horses I photographed was going to compete at Paris-Vincennes racecourse, which is world-famous for trotting races, so we decided to accompany him and his owner/trainer there for a day. It is hard to put into words how much these horses mean to their owners/trainers. But all I can say is, they dedicate their life to them in a very admirable and inspiring way.
